Hey All, It is almost time for work again. I may not be able to be on tomorrow night or Thursday night. I have to go back to work tomorrow and I have church and then Thursday, I have a date with my friend Jen. So, I thought I'd come on tonight for a bit.
Had a good day today. I cleaned house this morning and then got cleaned up and went to Diane's. Then we (Diane, Sue and I) went to Jonesboro with our sister for her checkup at the doctor. Miss Emmy was with us but Jessica had to pick her up and take her for her first shots.... She did ok but is now running a bit of fever and is cranky.. Jessica gave her baby Tyle**nol before she took her and will keep her on it for a bit... Jessica did ok, too.. :) .. I told her I wouldn't like it either. Heck, if I could have, I would have taken the shots for her... fat lot of good that would have done her, huh?? But we love our Princess Emmy!! I will say extra prayers for her tonight.
After we got out of the doctor's office, we went to eat Chinese.... yum! And then went to my fav book store... Books-A-Mil**ion.. and you guessed it... I got a frozen coffee.... chocolate caramel frappe.... Good thing we don't live in the same town...I would live in the store!! LOL Diane and Sue got regular coffee... I love the flavored stuff... Sigh... So yummy!
I came home and took a cool shower. I was so hot. It has been miserable today. It is really dangerous right now if you get too hot. I don't envy those who work outside. (I do have compassion for them.... Diane and I used to chop cotton... very hot, very hard work...you appreciated every dime you made!)
I know the rest of the week will go by pretty fast since I'll be back at work, but I don't mind because I am ready for hubby to come home. I miss him so much. We've been married for 15 years next month but we are so close.. we have furkids and 1 beautiful African dwarf frog.. Edith :) .. and no human kids (except Jessica, Jason and Emmy.. who we claim :)... so we are extremely attached to each other.. best friends... you get the picture.. And if everything works out, as I said earlier, we are doing "date night" on Saturday... dinner and a movie.. maybe some shopping!! I can't wait!
Well, I guess I'll de-blog for now. I fed Edith some this am but she was kind of finicky so I'm going to try to get her to eat a little more and then read a bit and go to bed. I hope everyone has had a good week so far and that everyone is well. I'll be back soon. Hugs to all and blessings, too.

Aw, poor Emmy.
Other than that, sounds like a good day. I feel about Barnes & Noble like you do your bookstore.
Iced caramel macchiato with whipped cream for me. Yum.
Last time I saw Miss Emmy she was not a happy camper at all. She's running a temp, not wanting to eat, her legs are sore and she was very fussy. Hope she doesn't keep Jessica up all night tonight. I also hope she's feeling much better on Wednesday, not because I don't want to deal with a fussy baby, but because I don't like it when my Emmy isn't feeling her best.
I had a good time today, but it sure was hot!!
Lord willing I'll see you Wednesday night at church, Sister.

The job is wearing me out,but I'll make it.
I feel sorry for Emmy, and anyone who has to deal her right now.I hope she isn't alleric to the shots...Jon is, one more whooping cough shot would kill him.
I bet you miss B, he'll be home before you know it. It is hot!! too hot.Johnny is watering my flowers everyday now. The fur babies want to stay in all the time,I don't blame them.
I have to get ready for work, its 4:30am.Its gonna be a long day, work then boy scouts.
