Hi All... I thought I'd come on for a bit of blog before I hit the hay. I started my morning off in a strange way. I woke up at 4:17 am and had to empty a very painful bladder...a result of drinking iced tea at dinner last night... grilled pork chops, fried potatoes... yum!... But I digress... I never wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and if I do, I can never go back to sleep... ever. I had to get up at 6:15 to get ready for work and I probably didn't go back to sleep until 30 minutes before I have to get up.... And then I wake up feeling crappy... But in that few minutes that I dozed, I dreamed I lived in New York City... in a high rise building.. in a penthouse... you know, like in "Pretty Woman".......it was wild... and I was lonely... but I was going to go to see hubby across town... And I was debating on what to wear because it was so hot.. and I heard a noise... I went to the window and the view was incredible... so many high rise buildings and it was scary... so far up... And I heard the noise again and it was snow... mixed with a little ice... hitting the window.....in the middle of summer in New York City...... and I can still hear it now if I close my eyes.... I woke up and thought ... hmmm... strange indeed.. I've never been to New York..... but hubby has and we have pictures.... Guess that's where I got the dream pics....
Went to work today and we were pretty steady and then after work, me and my friend Jen went to eat Italian in a local town. We had seafood canelloni, and bread with butter, olive oil and pepper. And then we got dessert and coffee. She got a cheesecake sampler...chocolate, apple and raspberry.... yum.... and I got Amaretto Almond Torte... yum.. and our coffee was so good.. she got a Hazelnut Frappe and I got a Caramel Frappe... We had a delicious time!!!! :) We sat and talked for a while and then shopped for a bit and headed home. She goes back to college in a week and I will miss her... thank goodness for e-mail...
Well, I have to work tomorrow and I need to feed Edith so I will go for now and I will be back soon. Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow. See you all soon.

Lamar was gone all day and ate out, so I was only cooking for myself. I grilled myself a ribeye steak and made some of my broccoli salad and fresh corn salad. YUMmy!
I also made homemade ice cream tonight with my new ice cream maker and if I do say so myself, it was purty good too. ;o)
Donna and I may be going camping this weekend, don't know yet....I'll let you know if we do.
