Hi everyone... just thought I'd stop by and say hello for a minute. I have to get up early for work but I wanted to visit a minute... It's been a long day today... busy. But all in all, a good day. I've been needing a good day... don't we all? I don't have the shower head problems like Diane.. lol.. at least not for now... But that could certainly happen any time now... who knows?? ;-)
It was so nice out when I left for work this am.. cooler... but of course this weekend is going to be almost 100 degrees. I'm about tired of this kind of heat... it's time for cool... I guess we're never happy.
I actually made plans for this weekend so I probably won't be on for a few days after this. A friend and I have a date. We've planned dinner and shopping... my 2 favorite things! :0)
We actually had plans for last weekend but had to cancel. So, we're going this weekend. Other than that, that's all that's on my agenda. What are your plans?
I have exciting plans for next week ... I'm getting my oil changed in my car. he he he.. but it has to be done.... I actually need to clean out my car and wash it, too. We'll see....
Well, I am really sleepy so I guess I'll go for now... Hubby's crazy cat woke me up at 3 am.. yowling.... carrying a cat toy... sigh... So, I am ready for bed.

Hey, Sis...I had Emmy for a few hours this afternoon but probably won't have her again until next week sometime. Depends on when Jason works, etc.
It's already icky and hot again, and supposed to be hotter every day into next week, as you said. Blech!

I really feel for you all in that Arkansas heat. Up here it's generally in the 90's and humid this time of year, and I can't stand it. For some reason today it was in the 80's and not humid, and it felt so pleasant. I'm sure it will get hotter again next week, but nothing like what you experience. Ugh. I really do hate the summer.
Dinner and shopping sounds like the perfect date. I hope you and your friend have a great time.

At least you didn't trip over a big table cloth. When I started to the bathroom about midnight, Snowball had taken a table cloth out of the dirty clothes and brought it to Patches. Patches just looked at him like he was crazy, she knew she couldn't eat all that.LOL
I hope you have fun this weekend.I might if I had the money and didn't have to drag 2 kids out in this heat.

Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned! And then next week is the biggie....getting your oil changed! LOL I just had mine done a week or so ago. I don't drive enough anymore....it takes me forever to put 3,000 miles on my car! So I don't have to get mine changed but once or maybe twice a year!
