Well, that title was a lie! It's been hot in here. It was 78 degrees in here this morning at 10:00. This is the part of summer that I don't enjoy... it's the time of summer around here that can be dangerous. I get sick sometimes each summer because it is so hot. We just try to stay cool. Jessica and Munch came over this morning and was here all morning and then I went and got Sue and we went to Diane and Lamar's. We (Jess and I) went to a local shake shop and picked up our lunch... burgers and fries, sodas and ice cream... it was so hot!! Jessica filled up Munckin's little pool out back and we took her out for a bit and even with my legs in her pool, it was still almost miserable. By the time I came home about 6:30, I just felt drained. So, I came in and took a cool shower and washed my hair and got some pj's on and I feel better now!!
Tomorrow, Jessica will be gone for her recheck in Little Rock for her problems she's been having. If you read on here in time, I'd appreciate your prayers that her recheck goes well and for traveling safety... I know that she'd appreciate it, too. Lamar and his Mom are going with her.
Well, not much else is going on here. I thought I'd come on and say "hi." I probably won't be on tomorrow night. I have a date with a friend so I will probably come in and take a shower and get my act together to go back to work. I have enjoyed my time off... it was great... I spent most of it with my favorite people.. my family!! I hope you got to spend time with your family over the 4th.
Well, I guess I'll go for now. Have a good week and I'll try to be back on soon... maybe Thursday. Hugs to all.... Cecil

I am definitely praying for Jessica! And waiting for word from her that everything went well.
Ugh, the heat! I know that the heat we experience up here is nothing like your heat, but to us it's HOT and it just kills me. And it's incredibly humid! But I've traveled through the south and I know your heat is other worldly. Drink lots of water!!

I will say extra prayers for Jessica , it is wonderful she has such a great family around her for love and support , wonderful stuff that fills the heart .

Get in Emmy's pool and play with her to stay cool! Sounds like great fun to me! LOL It's hot here in SC, too! I stay inside in the A/C as much as possible, though.
I guess I am late to pray for Jessica's doctor visit, but I can pray that all goes well if she does have the surgery later on. She's so young to have all this trouble.
