Hello everyone! If you read my previous post then you know that I made it through the storms.. it got a little rough for a bit but settled down. I got woke up out of a dead sleep by a big clap of thunder and it scared me so bad that I jumped violently and scared poor Amos so bad he jumped up out the bed and ran to the hall! Bless his heart.. he sleeps right up against me and I just about caused him to have a coronary!! Our capitol had a lot of damage... Little Rock... they did have a tornado touch down. One of the ladies I work with has a daughter who lives close by there and she was on her way home and had to rush home and take cover... she and her husband are ok... It gets really scary when these tornadoes start popping up... And we have so much water! Several of the places that were already flooded have been flooded again for the second time.. I pray that it's over for a while....
I came home and did a few things in the house and then fed the furkids.. and made myself a ham sandwich and had some Cheetos...and I thought I'd stop in and blog a bit before I go to bed..
I still don't know what I'm doing tomorrow after work... I'm still leaning toward coming home and vegging out ... that's what Sammy voted for!! ;-) But we'll see...

P.S. ... to Sammy... I have always been very respectful of storms and even more now... it can get very scary sometimes... I've seen several tornadoes from a distance.... and I want to keep it that way!! Hello, New York!!! ;-) Glad you came to visit!!

Just visiting...you know we never woke up through all of the lightning and thunder...I guess it just didn't get bad. I'm glad though, but I heard on the news that we are gonna get more rain and bad weather next week...oh boy...just what we need. i can't even go the regular way to work for flooding!!! Anyways...talk to you sunday i guess.

It did get kind of loud around here the other night. Thunder woke me up around midnight and I got up and stayed up for about an hour. The wind did get up a bit, but nothing too serious around here except for some heavy rains. I seen on t.v. where Little Rock and Benton got hit. I watched a Little Rock Station on t.v. and saw some of the damage they had down there. My DH said that the mighty Mississippi River at Memphis is really up. I had seen on t.v. last week where the boats were just barely clearing the bridges. Since we got more rain, they may not be able to get under those bridges now. According to the weather reports, more rain is back in the forecast for Tuesday thru Friday again. Our girls weren't able to play softball on Saturday because it was still raining a bit and the Sun finally came out yesterday afternoon. I have some things for you on my post for today. Sounds like pretty extreme weather ... hope it doesn't get any worse.
