Hello Everyone! I am sorry I've been away.... I went to the eye doctor on Monday and on Tuesday, Brian (hubby) and I went Christmas shopping. Jessica met up with us later in the day and ran around with us. We had lunch at Dex*ters... a bar-b-que place that is really, really good... Then she had to run some errands and she went to get Munchkin and met us again... we had a good time... I had to work Wednesday and I started getting sick on Monday and have progressively gotten worse... It started with asthma and just keeps getting worse... I am now sneezing every few minutes... eeww... But anyway, I have to work tomorrow even if I can't talk... someone else may have to answer the phone... I don't have a pleasant voice right now... :(
We had a wonderful day yesterday at Jessica & Jason's and Princess Emmy's (aka Munchkin)... Diane listed all the food on her blog... it was truly wonderful... we had a really good time... it felt like Thanksgiving to me and Brian for the first time in a while... Thanks to everyone .... it was so good!
Brian and I put up our tree and decorated Wednesday night... I love our tree... we got a new one this year... we have put up our little tree covered in birds.. in memory of my Mom... she loved birds... it is so pretty, too.. I have bought some Christmas cards and Hubby bought some for me, too. I do them for family, our church family and my work, and several of our church family do them for the local nursing home.. I will start those soon...
We may have Christmas at Jessica & Jason's this year, too. They were talking about it today at Diane and Lamar's... more on that later....
Well, I guess I'll go for now... I need to get some sleep if I can and go to work in the AM.... I will try to check back in tomorrow evening.. Have a good weekend ... Hugs to all.... Hope you all had a wonderful holiday.... Cecil

Thanks for stopping by. I just love your Christmas Header and your background. Your sweet sister, Diane, fixed my Thanksgiving Header for me and she is going to do my Christmas Header as well. She is such a sweetheart. I have really come to like your sister alot since I have been blogging. I am so glad Thanksgiving felt more like Thanksgiving this year. Maybe it was because Miss Emmy was here this year. I haven't had to experience the loss of my parents yet. I know there will be a day coming where I will, but I am Thankful I have them everyday. We put our tree up Thanksgiving night. Hubby and our girls decorated it and I just unpacked the decorations and sorted them out and told where to put some of them. LOL. I did some more decorating yesterday afternoon. I still have some more to do. I am decorating more this year than I have in a long time. It is cold out this morning. I just got back from taking hubby to his truck, and it is really cold. Be sure to bundle up this morning. I'm sorry you are sick. I pray you will get better soon. I hate being that sick.
