Hey Everyone.... I wanted to come on for a few minutes and check in with everyone. I was feeling better today... still not well... I am still very congested and am coughing in a most un-ladylike way....but this am, I got up and got ready and called Diane and Lamar and our sister, Sue, and we went to eat lunch and I told them we were heading to the mall because I wanted to go Christmas shopping. And it was so nasty outside... cold and windy and rainy..... well, mainly drizzly.... but still nasty. But I wanted to go shopping .. and it was so nice. The stores were almost empty and it was so easy to get around and just so relaxing to be able to look without falling over people! I enjoyed it.... I got some nice gifts for my sweet man.. and I also got some goodies for Princess Emmy... aka.. Munchkin.... and some stocking stuffers.. I am not through yet but I have done pretty well today.... I was so glad to be able to get out and go today.. I will try to rest some tomorrow because I have to go back to work Wednesday.
Our mall is very nice... and I want to take Munchkin to get her picture made with Santa. And I noticed today that the Santa that they have there actually looks like he could be Santa... he is the most realistic one I think I've ever seen.... Hubby and I bought an outfit for Munchkin to wear when she gets her picture made but I got another one today for her... now we just have to set up a time and go.....
Well, I guess I will go for now... I have to feed Edith and I am still pretty tired. Hope you all have a good Tuesday. I will try to check back in tomorrow evening... Hugs to you all... Cecil

I'm glad you felt like getting out and going shopping. I just hope and pray that getting out in that cold and damp weather makes it worse. Sounds like yall had a great time. Do you think Miss Emmy will be afraid of Santa? I remember when my girls were small, they were scared of him at first. The finally got used to it tho. If you do get a picture of Miss Emmy with Santa, please be sure to post it here so we can all see. It's about time they have a almost real looking Santa. The ones they have had in the past for many years have always looked fake. LOL. Oh well, my girls have kind of outgrown that now. I do miss it tho. Do get plenty of rest today. It is suppose to be warmer. I was watching the weather last night and Ryan mentioned the "I" word for this weekend. He said it was still a few days out, but they would keep watching it.
