I'm sorry everyone... I didn't mean to be gone so long. Hope you are all well. I have just been busy. I spent Saturday morning at work, of course, and then I really had to work on my house. So by the time I got through with everything, I was worn out. Then on Sunday, I had church and then had a date with hubby. We had a good time.... went to eat at our favorite Italian restaurant and then went shopping. We got some new Christmas ornaments and I got some candles... I have to have good candles.... I consider it a necessity. We went to TJ Ma*xx and to Pier 1... Hubby has already been picking up presents. We love Christmas and always have a party and invite family and friends.... It is our gift to us.... It is a tradition we started a few years after we got married. We look forward to it every year.
Well, I hope everyone had a good weekend and is doing well. Yesterday, Sue and I went and got McDonald's and went to Diane's and today we went out and ate and went back to her house. None of us have felt really well so we just kind of vegged out. I go back to work tomorrow but I am really needing a vacation so as soon as hubby tells me a good time, I will put in for it.
It has been cool today and it rained all day pretty much yesterday. And we may get storms tomorrow night and Thursday. And Diane said possible tornadoes next Monday and Tuesday. I am not looking forward to that.... I hate storms and will keep my eye on the weather.
Well, I still have a few things to do, so, I will go for now and will try to check in soon. Hope you all have a good week. See you soon.
Cecil

I will keep my fingers crossed that you have no tornadoes.
Memorial Day weekend in 1973 found me hiding in a closet, under a mattress, with my two sons, then 4 and an infant, under me.
It missed us but my husband and daughter were in the 7-11 on Nettleton when the roof blew off.
It was quite a night.
I'm with you, Sister. No tornadoes need pass through here as far as I'm concerned. I'll be watching the weather too.
Love you, Sis.
Joe
Hi Cecil, hope you are having a great weekend, and that no nasty storms have come by your way.
Don't worry too much about not blogging too much at the moment, I think many of us are in the same boat ... life just gets in the way. We'll all still be here whenever you are.
Take care, Meow
