Hi Everyone! I hope you're all doing good. I haven't been on in a bit. Sorry... been busy. I had church Wednesday and got home later and was just too tired to come on and Thursday night, I was immersed in my 2 fav tv shows...the season premiere's of "Ugly Bet*ty" and "Grey's Anat*omy." And then it was shower time and bedtime. Friday night, I got home from work and vegged out on our bed and watched tv... "What Not to We*ar"... and of course on Saturday I had to work. Sister ( Martha) and I went and got lunch and then went to Wally World. I had to finish getting ingreds for the dishes I was making for our Homecoming dinner at church. So, I was busy all day and evening on Saturday... and I was tuckered out and ready for bed. I made my fav salad...5 later salad, and I made corn souffle and pumpkin cake for dessert. Everything turned out good.
We had a good day yesterday and plenty of food....turkey, ham, Boston butt, meatloaf, casseroles, hot chicken salad, soup, peas, beans, greenbeans, corn, mac and cheese, spaghetti with meat sauce, potato salad, .....I could go on and on... Diane made crockpot dressing and sweet potatoes, and raisin pie and pecan pie... and the desserts were great, of course... And we had a group come and sing... it was a good afternoon.
Today, Sue and I went to eat at our local cafe... It was good... fried chicken, cabbage, okra, mac and cheese.. rolls and meatloaf... and sweet tea... and peach cobbler for dessert. Diane went to do some of their shopping so we didn't go to their house "til later. I had to go to Wally World and get a light for Edith's tank...unfortunately, I got the wrong wattage.... It is too bright and it looks like Edith Griswold's Christmas vacation right now!! Hubby was sweet to offer to go to get me the right bulb so he will be home shortly... he was out of town last night and just called a few minutes ago and is at Wally now...bless his heart! Edith is now 2 years and 8 months old and I hate to change her environment at all... She is so fun and I love her! Brian said he didn't want her to sunburn!! lol .. :)
Hubby said no cooking tonight so we can visit when he gets in...he's picking up Sub*way on his way here. Bless him!!! And tomorrow, he said we are going on a date! Fun! We are going out for lunch and Christmas shopping a bit... Fun! We haven't got to spend a lot of time together lately so I am glad we are going out tomorrow.
I hope everyone is well. I'll try to post more this week. I am so glad.. we are supposed to have a cold front come through the next few days.. the high on Saturday is 74 degrees! I am glad. No plans for the weekend yet and that is ok with me...

Edith getting a sunburn LMAO , your hubby seems so sweet, lucky you but you know it already and date night ,that is awesome ,must try that again havent for awhile ,time seems to vanish and we forget that the ones we love sometimes need time together , have a great week Cecile .

I still haven't figured out what souffle is...but anyways...the munchkin is sick....no sleep for us and a whiny child that feels terrible....I feel sorry for her... hope you have a good date...love you... Jess

Christmas shopping already? Our Walgreens is already switch their aisles over and it's not even Halloween, let alone Thanksgiving.
