Another Sunny Day......

Hello Everyone... I wasn't sure if I wanted to come on tonight or not but I decided to stop by and blog a bit... Today was a sad day.. A dear lady from our church that has known me most of my life...she said she feels like I'm one of her kids... her son and his wife had a baby Wednesday and he died Thursday.. he had several problems.. I got up this morning.. and decided to go to the funeral and I had to rush. I didn't sleep well last night and stayed in bed 'til 8:00 and had to hurry to get around for the funeral. My sis (Sue) went with me. Our Pastor did the service and did a wonderful job. And then we went back to our church.. we had dinner for the family. They are doing as well as can be expected. It has just broken my heart... And some other things have been going on in some of the families of our church and this has been a hard weekend.. and this has just been a very hard day... I am ok..just worn out and in need of sleep.

Hubby has been out of town and will be home tomorrow. He called earlier and said we are going on a date tomorrow! I love date night! We will probably going out to eat and shopping...Jessica said Munchkin needs some sleepers so I will look for some for her..... and he said maybe a movie if there's something on we want to see... I came home tonight and did some housework and I shouldn't have to do anything tomorrow except rest and get ready to go out. I am looking forward to it.

I am already thinking of things for Christmas! I love this time of year! I will go shopping for Hubby and Munchkin starting this coming weekend. I haven't shopped for a baby in a while and we also have Seth to buy for this year. A boy and a girl! Our Mom (and Dad) always tried to make sure we had a good Christmas.. And we did... I have always loved Christmas... it is about family to me... And most importantly, the birth of JESUS!!! I enjoy the whole season.. I love the decorating, the food, the parties, seeing our friends, going caroling, and just being with family. And hubby and I have a party here every year... our gift to us...
