Just A Veggin'.........

Hi All... It is Saturday evening and this chicky is just about to fall over... It has been a long week and I am ready for a hot bubble bath and some spa treatment! I know by this time that everyone is ready for some down time.

Hubby is out of town...left last night after work and won't be home 'til tomorrow evening so I have the house to myself.... It's ok but I miss my B.... Anyways, I got up this AM and went to work as usual and we were busy .... as usual. :) After work, Sister and I went to lunch at Shogun's....... Japanese food.... I had steak and chicken, rice, vegetables..and I shared fried oysters with Martha. She had steak and shrimp and the other sides, too. Then we came back to town and picked up a few things at Wally World... Then I came home and I've been trying to put together an outfit for church tomorrow. Haven't made up my mind yet but I'll figure it out....later...... Other than feeding Edith, I have no other plans than getting that bath and spa experience. :) Just veggin' and watching tv....Jessica makes fun of me because I sit and watch the Food Network all the time.... Yes, it's on now....lol But I do watch other things.... Ugly Betty, CSI, and my favorite... Grey's Anatomy. My favs on the Food Network includes Paula Deen, Rachel Ray, and Giada DeLaurentis.....

I hope everyone has had a good week. We did...just busy. I had a good day Tuesday with my hubby. We went to eat lunch..he got breakfast and I got a burger @ IHOP. We went shopping and I went and got my hair trimmed. We also went to the library...hubby is doing his family tree.. I read while he did his research... then we went to a coffee shop and I got an iced coffee and turtle pie and he got a Coke and cheesecake. They had some beautiful jewelry on display and he bought me a necklace.. Murano glass from Italy.... So pretty... ............. Then I went to Diane and Lamar's for a bit and went home. I got to see Emmy for a bit ... and Jessica, too.

So, that's my Saturday...what about yours? I wish everyone would pray for Heather. They stopped her chemo..her platelets are low... And one of my friends I graduated with (and her sister..my friend also..who is a year younger) lost their mother a week ago...she was run over and it was just horrible..their dad was there when it happened...please remember all of them. There has been several deaths in our church family the last several months... and sickness... It is so sad...... Life is but a vapour......
