Yep, I was able to get my day off!! I was so glad! And had a good day off. I slept in and then got up and worked on the house...just a bit. And the weather was hot as usual. I got a sinus headache a bit after I got up so I ate some brunch and took some meds... But I have had a headache every day since Thursday... so it was no surprise.. :( Anyways, I talked to my sis..Martha .. and she and her son and family decided to go to the movies... I wasn't sure if I could go because of my head.... But I took a good shower ( that's right...not a bath..and yes, I knew it was Saturday! lol)...To answer Sister, no I never thought I'd discuss my personal hygiene on the internet! :) ..... But anyways.... I felt better and I went to the movies and we saw Harry Po*t*ter.... It was good..... It stormed while we were in the theater and the lights went off for about 5 minutes.. but it was ok. After the movie, we came home. Jessica and Jason and Emmy were at my house with hubby.. Emmy was sleepy and cranky but we had a good visit...
Yesterday, we had church as usual.. After church, we went with a bunch of our church members and went to eat pizza.. we had a good time. Then church again and home.
Today, Sue and I went to Wally World ( Ann knows about Wally World.. :) We got ham and chips for lunch at Diane's for lunch... sandwiches... chips... pretty good... Emmy was supposed to get her first shots today so Jessica was at Diane's part of the day until time for Em's doctor visit. Then she called Diane later... they ran out of vaccines this AM.. so Em didn't get her shots... I told Jessica if I went I'd probably cry!! LOL ... And I give shots... lol But now she has to go back... Anyways... that was our day..
I came home tonight.. Diane came with me..she had a meeting at church tonight... And hubby had to work "til 6. I got dinner ready.. stuffed shells with maranara or alfredo sauce.. and French bread... it was good.. Last Monday, I fixed fried pork steak, shells and cheese, shoepeg corn, and English peas... it was so good... I am trying to cook for hubby more..it is so hot and I hate to turn my oven on but since they got our central air fixed, I can stand it in my kitchen now.. So more cooking.. :0)
Well, I guess I will close for now.. hubby wants to use the computer, too.... Have a good day tomorrow.. see u soon....blessings to all... Cecil

Yes, Ann knows Wally World all too intimately. I'm heading out there in the next couple of days for the once a month shopping orgy.

It's a bugger, when you have to cook and it is so hot, isn't it ?? I always try to make something light, and quick ... hubby loves salads, but they don't do much for me ... I get hungry too quickly after eating salad !!
