HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAMA!
Dear Mama, I just wanted to say Happy Birthday! I know you're not supposed to tell a woman's age but I know you would have been 78 today! I almost wish you were here. But I know that you're having a wonderful time and I wouldn't dare wish you away from the party you're having! So, I will celebrate you in my heart... knowing that God holds you in His hand and that I will celebrate with you someday. Lots of things have happened since you've been gone...some good... like weddings.. and babies... (3 of them to be exact...!) and some sad... friends who are gone now... But I know that God knows best and so today I miss you...as I do many other days.... and I celebrate you and what you mean to my life... You are forever a part of my mind and a permanent owner of my heart.... So, Happy Birthday, Mama.... I celebrate your life today.... We sure had a good time.....I will love you..... Always & Forever... IN LOVING MEMORY..... OF JESSIE LUE COOK.......

Me too Cecil,
I was hoping that Victoria would be born on her birthday, but she couldn't wait.
I've thought of Mama all day. But I know she's in the best place right now.
Love you Sisters!!!
Donna
I almost hate to intrude; this seems like such a private moment for all of you.
But I have to say how beautiful your thoughts are and tell you a little story I hadn't shared until now.
My Rebecca hadn't said too much about how much she missed her Grandma Carol until last week when she suddenly wrote her a letter and showed it to me.
After thinking a while about what to do with it, she got a thumbtack and affixed to the door of the bedroom they had shared.
I bet you know exactly how we grownups can smile through tears.
Much love to all of you
